For all ages and all levels of proficiency...

​No partner needed--all are welcome!​

Where & When:

We dance at the Na Makana Dance Studio in Paradise Park (in the back of Manoa Valley in Honolulu) 2-3 times a month, on Sunday evening. Because the date can vary, an email notification is sent out a few days prior to each dance session.

About IFDH

International Folk Dancers of Hawaii is a non-profit corporation organized to perpetuate recreational folk dancing and its accompanying music through ongoing educational programs of classes, workshops, concerts, conferences and forums.

Membership dues are $5/year. All members receive a periodic newsletter, Foot*Notes.

Other dancing in Hawaii

Other folk dance groups on Oahu are Hawaii Israeli Recreational Dance and Mandala International Folk Dancers. In addition there are Contra Dance, Square Dance, Scottish country dance and Scandinavian dance groups. There are also plenty of opportunities for Swing, Country Western, Latin, and ballroom dancing. The DanceHawaii website has information on all sorts of dance, from contra through country to rave.
